  • The food was delicious. I got the jerk chicken plate and it was a big serving, the chicken also had a little kick to it. The drinks and the vibes are strong. They were easily able to accommodate our group of seven, making a reservation ahead of time was very helpful. We went to celebrate my friend’s birthday and they made it special with a surprise dessert along with the traditional Mexican birthday song.

  • Booked a table easily through the Facebook page. Welcomed by friendly staff, our waiter was Liberto. We had the jerk tacos for starters which were great. We had the jerk chicken dinner and the jerk chicken Rasta pasta main which were both AMAZING! cocktails were good too and reasonably priced. Reggae music playing gives it a good atomsohere. Would highly recommend and we will be visiting again on our next trip to PDC!

  • Rockas Jamaican Kitchen is an absolute gem in Playa del Carmen! From the moment we arrived, the vibes were unmatched — warm, welcoming, and full of life. The food was out of this world: authentic, home-cooked Jamaican and Vietnamese dishes bursting with flavor, clearly made with love and attention to detail. You can truly taste the passion in every bite. Stephanie, the owner, has created something very special here, and it shows in every aspect of the experience. We were looked after by Eugenio, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. If you’re in Playa del Carmen, do yourself a favor and come here — you won’t regret it. Easily a 10/10!

Jerk chicken was on point, the spices and flavors were all there and the oxtail was amazing too! Stephanie is the owner and she was is so sweet and accommodating. Liberato was our server and he was so hospital and welcoming! The music was on point for Jamaica vibes too. I would come back here over and over to get a taste of home ????????
